Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our DataOps team in ingesting third-party data and delivering high-quality inputs to our data science and consumer marketing processes. This role is critical in transforming automotive Dealer Management System (DMS) data into actionable insights that enhance customer experience and drive meaningful engagement for our dealer partners.

As an Associate Data Analyst, you will become a subject-matter expert in automotive industry data, gaining hands-on exposure to data ingestion, transformation, quality validation, and troubleshooting across production data pipelines. You will collaborate with vendors, product teams, and engineering groups to ensure data accuracy and resolve issues in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve data-related issues under time-sensitive conditions while maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop deep expertise in DMS data and understand its business applications.
  • Learn and support existing processes for data extraction, ingestion, transformation, and quality control.
  • Own and manage customer data support workflows and troubleshoot data quality issues.
  • Resolve customer support tickets by distinguishing between data and system issues.
  • Query and extract data using SQL, Python, or C#.
  • Provide analytical insights to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Analyze datasets to identify issue patterns, assess scope, and support containment efforts.
  • Lead independent analytical projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously evaluate your own performance and refine work processes for better outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience (preferably in fast-paced environments or automotive industry).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Comfortable working with technology, tools, and process-driven workflows.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables).
  • Intermediate SQL proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Experience with customer support ticketing systems.
