Power BI Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into meaningful insights using Microsoft Power BI, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud services)
Develop and optimize data models using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Create ETL processes using Power Query
Write and optimize SQL queries
Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions
Monitor dashboard performance and implement improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI
Strong knowledge of DAX and data modeling concepts
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft Azure services (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications such as:
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Data Factory)
