Job description: This resource will become part of the Trading Floor support team essentially to support the traders during the trading hours and this resource is expected to provide support various applications in the desktop/laptops in the context of ongoing Office-16 migration initiatives Responsibilities and duties: Assist With post Office 2016 upgrade incidents and queries Support trade floor application which interact with Office (e.g. Bloomberg, Factset, Thompson Reuters) Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel Ensure incident management process is followed and all SLA's are met. Troubleshoot Hardware & software issues in person at the user's desk(Floorwalking), remotely and by phone Qualifications and skills 3+ years' experience in Trading Foor Support and 6+ experience in providing IT Support Experience working with Office 2016 is a priority. Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations. Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience. Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required. Experience working with Windows 10, Windows 7, Active Directory Incident Management via ServiceNow is also requirement. Experienced use of Excel is beneficial. VMWARE and VDI knowledge will be useful.
