Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.

  • Build and optimize data models (Star and Snowflake Schemas) for efficient reporting and performance.

  • Develop complex DAX measures and calculations to meet business logic and analytical requirements.

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and other tools to integrate data from multiple sources.

  • Conduct data validation, data profiling, and data quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

  • Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

  • Optimize report and dataset performance through proper modeling, indexing, and query optimization.

  • Implement and maintain row-level security (RLS) and role-based access in Power BI.

  • Integrate Power BI reports into SharePoint, Teams, and other business applications.

  • Provide end-user training and documentation for developed reports and dashboards.

  • Work closely with data engineers to align data pipelines and ensure smooth data flow between systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Analyst.

  • Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).

  • Proven experience in data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.

  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts and experience validating and transforming data for reporting.

  • Experience with SQL queries for data extraction, joins, and aggregations.

  • Experience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.

  • Excellent understanding of data relationships, hierarchies, and dimensional modeling.

  • Ability to analyze complex business data requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
