We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Power BI Developer to lead enterprise-scale BI solutions, drive data visualization strategy, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in Power BI, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to work closely with business and data teams.
Lead the design and development of enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports
Define BI architecture, data models, and semantic layers for large datasets
Translate complex business requirements into actionable insights and visualizations
Optimize Power BI performance for large data volumes and complex models
Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance standards
Collaborate with data engineers and architects on data pipelines and models
Establish Power BI best practices, standards, and governance frameworks
Mentor junior Power BI developers and BI analysts
Manage Power BI Service deployments, workspaces, and capacity planning
Drive adoption of self-service BI while ensuring security and compliance
12–15 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data visualization, with strong Power BI focus
Expert knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server
Advanced expertise in DAX and Power Query (M)
Strong experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks)
Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques
Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) integration
Experience implementing security, RLS, and compliance standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Premium capacity administration
Exposure to advanced analytics, AI visuals, and embedded Power BI
Microsoft Power BI certifications
