Job Description :

Title: Enterprise Data Modeler

Duration:6-12months

Location: Remote (EST)

As Enterprise Data Modeler, your day to day will involve:

Analyse and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical data models.
Create logical and physical data models based on existing and new applications and databases.
Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines.
Work with business architects, data stewards to capture business requirements in a Logical Data Model.
Contribute to assessing the appropriate data platform(s) for solutioning efforts.
Evaluate implemented application databases for variances from standards.
Assist Data team in building ETL pipelines and authoring sql queries.
Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align to the corresponding logical data models.

The skills you will bring to the job include:

Must have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with 3NF logical, dimensional, and physical data modeling.

Have extensive experience with different data modeling techniques that includes Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault Modeling, 3NF etc.
Analyze and translate business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical data models.
Create logical data models based on existing applications and databases.
Ability and experience in building both logical and physical data models from the scratch.
Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines.
Work with business architects, data stewards to capture business requirements in a Logical Data Model.
Experience with SQL, query authoring and handling large datasets
Experience with design, development of ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Experience working on Cloud platforms like Azure, synapse, snowflake etc. is a big plus.
