Role: AWS Data Architect

Location: Remote an option—prefer Atlanta based

Working with the Marketing Organization within CPG division of the Client.

JD:

CX team vision is to become a data-driven marketing organization providing easy access to trusted data and enable data scientist to gain actionable insights and increase competitive position, and value creation
CX Vision based on a technology roadmap to support the following:

Ingest 5 years of data from approx. 27 sources into a trusted data platform
Utilize industry best practices to build a framework to consume this data and provide access to CX users (power users – Data scientist, Dashboard & Reports – stakeholders)
Identify actionable insights by creating repeatable processes & tools to build metrics and performance summaries (dashboards)
Create additional reporting tables as required to support the business initiatives while reducing manual tasks

Required Skills:

10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years knowledge and expertise of Data solutions and cloud native features
3+ years expertise in Data Lifecycle - data migration, data validation, data cleansing and data modeling
AWS Cloud Architect with experience on Data Security, Data orchestration, Disaster Recovery, Data Reconciliation approaches
AWS Development experience using these services ( S3, Athena, AWS Glue Jobs, Lambda, Step Function, RDS, Redshift, Data Lake & Lake formation)
Should have experience Data migration activities (OnPrem – Cloud)
Experience in Integrating External applications with AWS (Ex: Snowflake)
Required experience with Data Engineering and ETL/EDW Design Process and Practices
Experience with GIT / Bit Bucket / SVN configuration for code check-in/Check-out
Experience in Agile Methodology using SCRUM or Kanban
Any AWS Certification (Ex: Solution Architect) would be a plus
Marketing Data domain knowledge will be a plus
