Job description
This individual will be a key contributor for an effort to migrate SharePoint 2013 on-prem to SharePoint Online. This will involve migrating approximately 124 sites. This individual will need to have previous migration experience as well as experience incorporating active directory for authentication. The ideal candidate will have strong SharePoint configuration experience. This individual will exhibit strong technical aptitude as well as project management, documentation and communication skills.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ability to analyze customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions.
Design and implement SharePoint, Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Active Directory Synchronization.
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on SharePoint project and issues with accountability for the outcome of those projects and issues
Assist in training end-users during all upgrade phases.
Must be able to lead technical meetings and discussions
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situations

Prior experience with Microsoft SharePoint Migrations required
Experience designing and implementing SharePoint and Active Directory required
Direct experience migrating from SharePoint on-premise/hosted to SharePoint online through various migration methods (Cutover, Staged, Hybrid)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent.
Microsoft Certification
Experience working in a consulting environment
