Role: Senior Android Developer
Location: Foster City, CA
Note: F2F is mandatory at the Wipro location or Client location.
Job Description
·Building Prototype applications using the latest mobile technologies
·Develop new ideas into demo-able products and pilot these with client''s partners
·Partner with product owners and UX designers in a fast paced environment, with quick iterative cycles
·Build robust and secure apps
·Demo products to executives
Must Have Requirements
·Bachelors in Computer Science. Masters preferred
·At least 5 years of experience building native mobile applications on Android for known brands
·At least 10 years experience developing software applications using Java/J2EE technologies for large enterprises. (Will make exception for exception candidates)
·Experience building large scale consumer facing commercial mobile application
·Strong knowledge of OOP and experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems
·2+ years of relational database experience including schema design and SQL
·Strong understanding of Android design patterns and best practices
·Practical experience building secure apps
·A can do’attitude and good interpersonal skills
·Experience working in an agile environment with rapid prototyping cycles
·Ability to stretch oneself to meet milestones
Additional Preferred Skills:
·Experience building apps involving Touch ID, NFC, beacons and push notifications
·Experience with IOT
·Strong sense of UI/UX
