Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our software team in Charlotte. The ideal person will have experience building high-quality, scalable mobile applications using Swift / Objective-C and modern iOS frameworks. You’ll work closely with product, backend, QA, and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain iOS applications (iPhone / iPad).
- Architect and implement new features using Swift, Objective-C, and UIKit / SwiftUI.
- Build and integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other backend services.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and UI/UX designers to ship polished app experiences.
- Optimize app performance, memory use, and startup time.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensure high app quality, and support production releases.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
- Stay current with iOS platform changes, new APIs, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, and working knowledge of Objective-C.
- Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Core Data, Realm, or other local persistence frameworks.
- Experience integrating with backend APIs (REST, JSON, GraphQL).
- Knowledge of concurrency (Grand Central Dispatch, OperationQueues) and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and test-driven development (TDD) is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching workflows.
- Experience with App Store deployment, provisioning, and certificates.
- Strong debugging, performance profiling, and optimization skills.
