We are migrating from UKG Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro WFM, with a focus on designing and integrating scalable solutions across North America and Europe. What You’ll Do
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer on the Workforce Management scrum team (part of the Global Back of Stores Agile Release Train), you will:
- Develop, test, and deploy features and services related to Workforce Management, with a strong focus on integrations and modernization.
- Lead the development and support of integrations between UKG Pro WFM and legacy systems using Dell Boomi.
- Design and configure systems to support operational efficiency, workforce productivity, and streamlined workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Solution teams across U.S., Canada, and Europe.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure all solutions align with corporate security, performance, and high availability standards.
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
- Support Agile development practices (SAFe framework).

- Preferred:
- UKG Time & Attendance, Schedule Optimization, ATK

- SaaS/cloud experience (3+ years)
- SQL/NoSQL Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB)
- DevOps & Agile Tools (Git/GitLab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence)
- Retail systems and processes
- Experience with Oracle HRIS, Workday integration
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- Proven expertise with UKG Pro WFM and integrations using Dell Boomi
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and scalable systems
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
