Job Description:
The Oracle Fusion Analytics Functional Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of analytics solutions using Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM data models. This role works closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable insights, ensuring alignment between enterprise data needs and Oracle Fusion Analytics capabilities.
The Functional Lead provides thought leadership, oversees end-to-end analytics delivery, and ensures that enterprise reporting and analytics solutions drive measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Leadership & Architecture
- Lead strategy, design, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) solutions across Finance, HCM, SCM, or cross-functional pillars.
- Architect end-to-end analytics solutions including data models, KPIs, dashboards, security, and integrations.
- Ensure alignment between Fusion Analytics data models and Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM processes.
- Drive adoption of enterprise analytics standards, best practices, and governance.
Functional Analysis & Delivery
- Conduct requirement workshops to define business reporting and analytics needs.
- Translate functional requirements into FAW/OAC solution designs and functional specifications.
- Oversee configuration, mapping, KPI development, semantic modeling, and validation activities.
- Coordinate with technical teams on data pipelines, ETL logic, extensions, and custom subject areas.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary analytics SME and functional point of contact across business and IT teams.
- Drive analytics project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Present analytics solutions, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and ensure solution quality and consistency.
Data Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure data accuracy, transformation logic, and KPI consistency across the analytics ecosystem.
- Define and manage data governance processes, report catalogs, and documentation.
- Lead QA for analytics deliverables including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production validation.
Continuous Improvement & Release Management
- Assess quarterly Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM updates for FAW impacts.
- Recommend enhancements to improve automation, usability, and analytical maturity.
- Promote advanced analytics capabilities, predictive modeling, and self-service analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8–12+ years of functional experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM analytics or reporting.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with FAW and/or OAC including data models, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud data structures, subject areas, and business processes.
- Proven experience leading analytics workstreams or end-to-end reporting projects.
- Strong expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM/ERP Extracts, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) certification.
- Experience with cross-pillar analytics (Finance + HCM + SCM).
- Background in consulting or enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Experience with predictive analytics, AI/ML models, or advanced data science tools.
- Familiarity with OCI, data lakehouse architectures, or data pipeline technologies.
