Position: Talend ESB Developer

Location: Remote

Long term contract

Experience: 8+ years 

Required skills: - 

• 3+ years of working on webservice implementation (REST API and SOAP services) in any Middleware platform 
• 3+ years of experience working with the Talend Studio as a Developer 
• Good understanding of various Enterprise Integration Patterns 
• Hands-on expertise in Talend ESB and Talend DI Components 
• Experience in leading teams in onsite-offshore model 
• Talend Cloud Experience is highly desired 
• Experience in any API Gateway would be an added advantage 
• Experience in any leading Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.) would be an added advantage 
• Should be a motivated, self-learner whose technical expertise is not limited to projects alone. 

We at Happiest Minds, are in search of an ideal candidate who has got an extensive experience in Talend with the ability to develop and deploy APIs, SOAP services & DI Jobs in a Hybrid Architecture. 

Responsibilities: 

• Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Talend DI & ESB platform including TAC, Connectors, Design Center, Talend Cloud (TMC, API Designer) 
• Work with client directly in understanding the requirements and drafting the Technical Design Documents 
• Develop Integrations using various programming languages and related tools/frameworks as requirement demands. 
• Responsible for reviewing code written by other developers, bug fixing, coordinating testing and code migration 

Requirements: 

• Talend/Integration Lead with good knowledge on the Talend Studio (DI and ESB), Talend Data Mapper, connectors, transformation components, flows . 
• Should have experience building Integrations using Camel components in Talend ESB. Should have in-depth knowledge of  tRESTRequest, tRESTResponse, tRESTClient and json handling components. 
• Experience in Webservice (REST APIs and SOAP services) design and implementation. 
• Expertise in various Enterprise Integration Patterns including File Transfer, Publish-Subscribe, Message Routing, Throttling, Message transformation/enrichment etc. 
• Hands on experience in JMS Messaging using ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka or other messaging brokers. 
• Experience in configuring and tuning TAC. Knowledge of Talend Cloud TMC and API Designer is highly desired 
• Experienced troubleshooting Talend Data Mapper, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools. 
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOA Architecture styles and their best practices. 
• Expertise in XML and JSON message handling. Experience in working with any standards such as EDI, OAGIS, RosettaNet would be an added advantage, 
• Have expertise in large distributed systems, legacy experience is considered an asset. Background in both agile and waterfall methodologies. 
• The candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication. 
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel and clients (external and internal).
