Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Enterprise Solution Architects are a highly skilled technical resource who is an innovative thinker, capable of envisioning how technology can be leveraged to solve complex business problems and deliver business outcomes. They are responsible for architecting, designing and implementing scalable best in class enterprise initiatives in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. This role is a hands-on technical contributor who anticipates implementation risks, defines appropriate mitigation plans, and implements them as appropriate. They work closely with cross functional business and IT teams in a highly collaborative environment to architect well-designed solutions that lower business and IT risk, increase reuse, and lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solution Architecture: Contribute to the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers while balancing between functional, service quality and systems management needs. Ensure that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to.
• Design & Develop Enterprise Strategies: Define and maintain enterprise-wide technology strategies, patterns, principles, and standards aligned with business and IT objectives.
• Reference Architectures: Lead the development of reference architectures and strategic blueprints across business and IT domains.
• IT Governance: Support the work of the governing authority/board, lead the review of management processes (and decisions) for compliance with the organization's strategy for corporate governance of information and develop architecture policies and standards.
• Business Architecture: Contributes to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy which meets the strategic requirements of the business. Creates models and plans to drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance. Undertakes responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, data management, practices, procedures, organization and equipment.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner closely with platform/application architects and support buildout of solution architecture for large, cross-cutting, enterprise initiatives.
• Identify, develop, and document system dependencies, architecture decisions, and integration diagrams.
• Lead technical workstreams within large projects as well as one-off technical initiatives.
• Support enablement and management of the enterprise tech debt register.
• Support enablement of enterprise technology strategies (API, Cloud, Data, Mobile, Open Source)
• Advance the innovation culture through identifying new opportunities or methods that enables a healthy technology community.
• Actively seek out opportunities to help the Enterprise Architecture team grow and deliver quantifiable value.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or applicable work experience.
• 8+ years of overall experience in information technology including architecture, design and development.
• 5+ years demonstrated leadership experience in complex business and technical environments as an architect is required.
• Experience architecting large enterprise systems as part of cross-cutting enterprise initiatives.
• Experience with major cloud platform, preferably GCP and Azure.
• Experience with SAP, ServiceNow, A e, and/or
• Experience working with DR strategy and/or building resilient systems a plus.
• Deep, hands-on technical acumen.
• Ability to influence the organization to "get things done".
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Possess a strong work ethic; takes pride in producing a quality product.

• Effective negotiation skills.
