Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Franklin, WI (Remote until Covid)

Responsibilities:
· Identify forward looking solutions and deliver iterative automation solutions as a part of the Agile team.
· Analyze Reliability data, i.e. Events, Incidents to identify improvement opportunities.
· Visualize the Reliability data using tools like Grafana/Kibana to show trends over time.
· Conduct monitoring events and incidents analysis, to provide inputs to improve existing Event management processes.
· Analyse incident trends to propose solutions for MTTR reduction and improved efficiency.
· Work with global teams and departments within the organization, to drive reliability initiatives, for scale and efficiency.
· Conduct demonstrations for stakeholders.
· Incorporate Data analysis and visualization best practices.
· Develops and maintains system, process, training, and documentation for the platform, operations, and monitoring components of the solution.
· Work in an Agile based model with aggressive delivery timelines
Required Skills
· Minimum 3 years of experience in driving Reliability improvements within a diverse IT landscape.
· Understanding of SRE concepts and their applicability to improve reliability.
· Deep understanding of ITIL processes and Event management as a discipline with experience in driving event correlation/enrichment.
· Expertise in atleast 1 Data visualization tool: Grafana/Kibana/Power BI.
· Understanding of multiple infrastructure technologies – Hardware, Configuration Tools (Puppet, Ansible, salt, Jenkins...), Operating Systems, network, storage, firewall, security, containers and microservices.
· Understanding of Source control concepts with hands-on experience with atleast 1 source control tool – Github, Gitlab, etc.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Should understand current industry trends and their advantages with ability to right fit into an existing environment.
· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
