Senior Systems/Business Analyst 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Systems/Business Analyst to drive process improvement and technology solutions across the organization. This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, assessed, and translated into effective system and process enhancements. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of business operations, data analysis, and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate complex business requirements and processes across departments to identify opportunities for automation and improved efficiency.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide innovative, technology-driven solutions.
  • Conduct end-to-end reviews of assigned business processes, with a focus on operational and financial performance improvements.
  • Document business requirements and user stories, and translate them into detailed functional and system requirements specifications.
  • Provide recommendations on system enhancements, new software solutions, upgrades, and process modifications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment of business goals with system capabilities.
  • Participate in system design sessions, solution testing, and validation to ensure business requirements are met effectively.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies during requirements gathering and implementation phases.
  • Continuously assess and refine business analysis practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of delivered solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of business process modeling, requirements analysis, and systems design.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects involving finance, operations, or enterprise systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or other business analysis and project tracking platforms.
