SAP CS Consultant (SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA)

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP CS (Customer Service) Consultant with strong expertise in migrating and transforming SAP ECC 6.0 systems to S/4HANA. The role involves analyzing existing CS processes, designing future-state solutions, and supporting implementation, integration, and optimization within S/4HANA environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current SAP CS processes in ECC 6.0 and design solutions for S/4HANA migration
  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation, migration, and upgrade activities
  • Configure and customize SAP CS modules including service orders, notifications, warranties, and contracts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, PM, MM, FI) for seamless integration
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with S/4HANA best practices
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Participate in testing phases (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT)
  • Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting
  • Create functional specifications and documentation
  • Train end users and business stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of experience in SAP CS module
  • Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA migration/conversion projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Customer Service processes (service management, repair, field service)
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of SAP CS
  • Understanding of integration with SAP SD, PM, MM, and FI modules
  • Experience in data migration tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with S/4HANA Service Management (new architecture)
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and user experience
  • Exposure to SAP Activate methodology
  • SAP certification in CS or S/4HANA Service module
  • Experience with tools like LSMW, LTMC, or Migration Cockpit
