SAP EAM Lead with Utilities

100% Remote

Job Summary:
The SAP EAM Lead – Utilities is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions within the utilities industry. The role involves working with business stakeholders to optimize asset maintenance processes, ensure system reliability, and support SAP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and support of SAP EAM solutions for utilities clients.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to asset management and maintenance processes.

  • Configure and optimize SAP EAM modules including Plant Maintenance (PM) and related components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP IS-U, Finance, and Supply Chain.

  • Provide functional expertise for maintenance planning, work order management, and asset lifecycle management.

  • Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EAM system issues and provide ongoing support.

  • Lead workshops, training sessions, and documentation for business users.

  • Ensure best practices and industry standards are followed in asset management processes.

  • Manage and mentor team members and coordinate with project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP EAM / SAP PM implementation and support.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP EAM processes within the utilities industry.

  • Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities).

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EAM.

  • Experience with asset lifecycle management and predictive maintenance solutions.

  • Project leadership or team management experience.
