Integration Architect Requirements & Responsibilities
- Plan, install, configure, and upgrade SAP S/4HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router, and related systems.
- Perform OSDB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO configuration, and SSL certificate management.
- Lead and support implementation and conversion projects for S/4HANA solutions.
- Configure Transport Management System (TMS), define transport strategies, and manage background jobs.
- Apply support packages, kernel patch upgrades, and manage operational modes and profile parameters.
- Set up SAP backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (HADR) solutions.
- Perform system refresh tasks, client copies, exports/imports, and manage data archiving.
- Optimize performance using SQL traces, stored procedures, and system tuning.
- Integrate SAP HANA with remote systems and manage connectivity/access.
- Conduct sizing activities using SAP Quick Sizer.
- Automate SAP Basis tasks through scripting.
- Troubleshoot OS-level/system issues, analyze logs, apply OSS notes, and create root cause analyses.
- Configure and manage EarlyWatch reports and proactive monitoring.
- Document processes and create standard operating procedures.
- Provide on-call support (weekday/weekend rotation).
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ years of SAP Basis HANA administration experience.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA landscapes (implementation, conversion, migration).
- Strong SQL scripting knowledge (stored procedures, performance optimization).
- Deep understanding of the HANA in-memory platform (installation, upgrades, tuning, integration).
- Proficiency in OSDB migrations, Unicode conversions, and DMO tools.
- High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HADR) configuration and support.
- Strong experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Linux OS administration in SAP environments.
