Position:- TM1 Technical Lead
Location:- Waukegan, IL
Skills:
Minimum 10 plus years IT experience including 5 plus years in TM1 and planning analytics.
Oversee the TM1 technical team as a lead and all projects they undertake, analyze briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, and develop work schedules. The candidate should be able to work with the team and inspire them to reach their goals.
Demonstrated experience in migrating TM1 applications from the legacy architecture/Platform to Planning Analytics cloud.
Driving the team’s effort for performing a detailed impact analysis for all of our legacy TM1 systems, gap assessment and be able to propose migration strategy for each of those applications.
Perform Code Reviews for the changes developed by the TM1 team to ensure best coding practices are followed.
Allocate tasks and set deadlines for each of the development team members and provide status updates on the work progress, ensure accuracy and quality of assignments.
Resolve any issues and conflicts within the team impacting project delivery timelines, Clearly communicate team goals, making sure that they are achieved.
Collaborate with business users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to tackle business requirements and deliver against high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
Works on complex projects and leverages its knowledge of applications development; Creates detailed designs and specifications for complex Planning Analytics applications that have enterprise-wide impact.
Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations to the TM1 Sever, Tm1 Instance, web server, Operating system or detect other possible bottlenecks.
Constructs and tests planning analytics application logic. Develops, creates and modifies application code for complex applications.
Acts as a subject matter expert and provides expert guidance on detailed design/code/test quality reviews for components.
Provides expert guidance on mitigation and resolution activities for critical production failures.
Supports the implementation of complex enhancements to existing Planning Analytics applications and major new Planning Analytics applications across the enterprise.
Supports research efforts to identify and recommend technical and operational improvements resulting in improved reliability and/or efficiencies in maintaining and/or developing the application.
Collaborates with Finance and Accounting teams to discuss & understand business requirements and translating them to technical design specifications for the development team.
Builds and presents Proof of Concept to stakeholders and seeks approval towards solution build.
Conducts Planning Analytics training sessions for end-users.
Experience writing TM1 TI’s, Rules, building reports in TM1 perspectives.
Experience building reports in Planning Analytics workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel ( PAX)
Good experience in setting up security requirements.
