Position Overview
Summary - Responsible for providing solution architecture, across multiple platforms within IBP area and integration architecture across all planning functions including financial planning, operational planning and supply chain planning . Responsible for leveraging existing enterprise architecture assets (business processes, applications, data, technology) and ensuring compliance with the target Enterprise Architecture blueprint
Key requirement: A solution architect with 8+ yrs experience in designing solutions for any commercially off the shelf supply chain planning system & has hands on experience. Should understand well nuances of demand planning, supply network planning, inventory deployment, replenishment, production planning etc.
Responsibilities:
• Have overall responsibility for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution design and assisting with implementation, in line with architecture standards and methodology
• Develop the required Solution Architecture artifacts including IBP interfaces, data flows, fit gap analysis
• Assist to evaluate IBP software vendors & provide As-is context to consultants, participate in design workshops and ensure solution design in line with process definition
• Participate in pre-design workshops and prepare for the design workshops, help validate the specific industry solutions shortlisted for demos during the workshop
• Assist the process owners and business delivery leads with understanding change management impacts to drive standardization
• Assist with functional testing of the configured solution & assist with integration testing, E2E testing and UAT
• Assist with the development and execution of cutover plan
• Assist with training, transition to support & hyper-care support
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in chemicals, manufacturing and/or mining preferred (but not essential)
- Experience with integrations between IBP, Financial Planning, Sales Forecasting
- A knowledge of architecture standards such as TOGAF is good to have
- Demonstrable experience of understanding and interpreting business processes with the ability to create ‘fit for purpose’ technology solutions. Specializes in evaluating business requirements and turning them into solutions, products, or services.
- A demonstrable track record of influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders at various levels across organizational boundaries
- Ability to problem solve and have a keen interest in emerging technology and trends
- Uses appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas.
- Provides advice on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.
- Experience with design and delivery of Integrated Business Planning Solutions (e.g. River Logic, SAP IBP, Anaplan, Logility, O9, BlueYonder)
- Experience with SAP MRP, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling and integration with IBPExperience with the use and application of Enterprise Architecture tools / frameworks in developing Solution Architecture artifacts
