Quality Assurance Testing Analyst.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Quality Assurance (QA) Testing Analyst to ensure the functionality, reliability, and stability of our software, websites, and technical products. The QA Testing Analyst will be responsible for identifying bugs, defects, and performance issues during the testing phase and ensuring final deliverables meet established quality standards. This role plays a critical part in the software development lifecycle, contributing directly to product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing on software applications, websites, and technical systems to identify defects, inconsistencies, or usability issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements and use cases.
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Implement and monitor automated and manual test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Report and track bugs and issues using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input from a QA perspective.
- Validate fixes in regression testing cycles and perform re-testing as needed.
- Ensure that the final product meets company quality standards and satisfies user requirements before deployment.
- Continuously seek ways to improve testing processes and efficiency through test automation and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and testing software (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, Postman, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
