Lead Testing Manager:  

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Testing Lead Manager to oversee all aspects of system testing, including functional, integration, automation, and user acceptance testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that system changes are rigorously verified, provide strategic guidance on testing approaches and tools, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of software releases.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all system changes are thoroughly tested across functionalities and integration points.
    • Validate that delivered solutions meet business and technical requirements through structured test strategies.
    • Provide expert-level guidance on testing methods, tools, and best practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Define test strategies and lead implementation of testing frameworks for both manual and automated testing.
    • Lead and manage the automation testing strategy, including design, development, and execution of automated test scripts.
    • Monitor and optimize test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
    • Coordinate and oversee testing activities across different teams including end user testing, performance testing, and smoke testing.
    • Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Reporting & Risk Management
    • Track, report, and communicate test progress, defects, and risks to stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely mitigation of issues affecting test outcomes and project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit).
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating performance, functional, and UAT testing efforts.
