Position: Project Manager DevOps.

Location: North Chicago, IL.

Duration: 06 Month Contract.

End Clients: Abbvie.

Job Responsibilities:
Project planning, managing execution, and tracking project deliverables
Identify needs and opportunities, document business needs and break them down into data and business process needs
Document business process using Visio and other modelling tools
Manage Cross functional teams to identify and resolve gaps and opportunities
Plan, facilitate, and track meetings with executives and project teams
Analyzes business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing technology components
Responsible for delivering Market Access 360 Build initiatives and ensure Demand backlog initiatives are ready for Build queue in a timely manner.
Project monitoring and Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division and cross divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
Resource and Team Management: Lead DevOps team, prioritize demands from Market Access and Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Supervises, motivates and mentor cross-functional /cross divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and validation analysts
Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other functions to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Lead Integrated program meetings with BTS leads from all the workstreams and resolve any conflicts in a timely manner
Conduct project prioritization meetings between BTS and Delivery vendors and maintain a business-driven project pipeline
Identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies. Ensures compliance between business strategies and technology directions.
Assess the degree to which changes in the scope, issues and risks will affect projects. Work with Integrated BTS team and Business to gain alignment for resolution
Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures
Communicate program progress by working with project managers, produce project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and overall health of the program
Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in BTS and with external partners. Acts as a liaison and business process expert to assure successful implementation.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related discipline:
At least 7-10 yrs. experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment,
3+ years Pharma industry experience desirable
PMP certification and Agile project management training preferred.
