Quality Engineer - SDET

QA Lead with strong Test Automation expertise responsible for defining automation strategy, leading test frameworks, and guiding both automation and manual QA teams. The role includes integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, optimizing automation coverage, analyzing failures, and ensuring reliable test execution. Responsibilities also include automating manual test cases, executing functional and regression tests, managing defects, and collaborating with cross functional teams. Hands on experience with Playwright using Java and JavaScript, along with test and defect management in JIRA, is required.
Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD integration
Familiarity with Trident
Prior experience working with Discover is a plus
QA reporting skills (dashboards, metrics, test coverage, defect trends)
Strong experience with Playwright automation using Java and JavaScript
Proficiency with JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and workflow coordination
Exposure to Financial Services domain

Designs and develops test automation solutions and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Builds and maintains test automation solutions and frameworks across multiple layers of the application architecture (UI, API, Services, Data). Automates testing across various technologies (Mobile, Devices, Browsers, Client-server, Micro-Services, Containers, etc.). Designs and develops automation solutions and frameworks that can be used by functional testers to perform testing in an automated way. Understands functional requirements and designs optimized test scenarios, identifies test cases, and codes them to be integrated with application code and DevOps pipeline for automated execution and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet business needs and are aligned with industry standards. Troubleshoots and debugs automation issues, and optimizes automation solutions for performance and scalability. Develops and maintains test data and test environments to support automated testing. Analyzes test results and provides insights to stakeholders to improve software quality and reduce defects.
