We are hiring Personnel Analyst Senior for one of our clients in Trenton NJ.
Job Description:
- This role involves entering employee information into the state s personnel system and calculating salary adjustments for manager review, preparing official HR forms and related documents (such as organizational charts), and entering or updating personnel data in Excel spreadsheets for submission to the Governor s Office.
- The position also includes keeping organizational charts current, filing documents as needed, and preparing close-out binders by gathering electronic records and combining them into organized PDFs using A e Acrobat.
- Overall, it s a mix of data entry, form preparation, record-keeping, and document organization to support personnel actions and management review.
Skills required:
- Data Entry Accuracy Skilled in entering, reviewing, and updating personnel information in HRIS systems with attention to detail and minimal errors.
- Excel Proficiency Ability to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for tracking and reporting personnel data; comfortable with formulas, sorting, and data organization.
- Document Preparation Experienced in drafting and formatting HR forms, official correspondence, and organizational charts.
- A e Acrobat Skilled in combining, organizing, and editing electronic files into professional PDF binders for management review and recordkeeping.
- Organizational Skills Strong ability to maintain current and accurate records, manage filing systems, and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
- Time Management Capable of handling multiple personnel actions and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail Ensures accuracy in salary calculations, form preparation, and data submissions to avoid errors.
- Confidentiality Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive personnel information with discretion and professionalism.
- Communication Skills Able to coordinate with supervisors, managers, and other staff regarding personnel forms, salary adjustments, and chart updates.
- Adaptability Comfortable learning new systems, policies, and procedures to support evolving HR needs.
Education required:
- Bachelor s Degree.
- Must provide a copy of their final unofficial transcripts which indicate the date of degree conferred.
Work hours:
- 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Lunch hour (unpaid): One (1) hour, anytime between 11 am and 2 pm
