Position Description:
Provide application support (24x7) for Peoplesoft GL financials module . resource would be carrying support laptop on a rotational basis during non-office hours. Assess impact of various projects to Peoplesoft GL module. Create/Update custom reports, extracts and security in Peoplesoft as needed. Support critical month end and year end business processing.
Experience Required:
PeopleSoft Background with good knowledge in SQR, Application Engine, People tools, Autosys, Oracle (Backend Resource should have experience with Mainframe Cobol and JCL. Resource should have experience in supporting critical applications with a high service level agreement.
Experience Preferred:
This position works closely with the business customer on a daily basis and a working knowledge of Accounting basics and terminology is needed.
Education Required:
Bachelor"s degree. IT related or equivalent work experience.
