Job Description :

Role: Oracle DBA Consultant.
Location: 100% Remote
( Only Fulltime or W2- Visa: Independent.)
JOB SUMMARY:

  • Oracle DBA expertise, including recent versions from 11g-19c.
  • Oracle RAC experience
  • Linux OS proficiency (from DBA perspective not required to be a Linux Administrator)
  • Oracle Partitioning expertise (for tuning purposes as well as for data purging and exchange)
  • Oracle Query Tuning expertise
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with at least one ETL tool and their methods and effects on databases. HPE uses Informatica.
  • English Language Communications Skills both verbal and written
  • Autonomous Work Capability Once you ve acclimated, you ll largely be driving your own work stream, under minimal supervision with broad objectives and a set of standards as your guide.
  • Ability to work with other teams You ll be working on databases that support applications owned by other teams. These databases are owned by IT, but support business.
  • Ability to work within defined boundaries HPE has strict policies for security access controls, change management, and configuration management. We all follow those, and you ll need to be willing as well
