Title : Network Test Engineer
Location : Sunnyvale,CA
Start Date : ASAP (if candidate is good joining will be on the other day of

Design, implement, and maintain lab network.
Manage lab servers including VMs and bare metal nodes.
Build OS images on VMs and verify the builds on bare metal servers.
Troubleshoot any issues in the lab network, VMs, and bare metal servers.

Minimum of 10 years of Linux system administration experience.
Experience with various OS favors including Ubuntu, CentOS, MS Server, VMware ESXi.
Experience with Linux Boot Process including BIOS, IPMI, PXE, iPXE, MBR, GPT, GRUB, Init.
Experience with orchestration: Ansible (preferred), Chef or Puppet.
Experience in installing and configuring Linux server and tools for physical servers.
Familiarity with QEMU Packer builder and image formats including QCOW2, VDI, VMDK, and raw.
Experience in lab network design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, PowerShell
Experience in JMeter load, scale, and performance test and analysis.
Experience in managing data center operations, including monitoring, alerting and notifications.
Management of switches, routers, network security devices, load balancers and network services (DHCP/DNS/IPAM) is required.
Knowledge of all the Layers of the OSI model and TCP/IP.
Proficient in Git and similar repository management.
Experience with build systems and release management tools such as Jenkins and Argo.
Creative thinker, strong problem solver and passionate about quality.
Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment.
Able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Hands-on experience with QA methodologies and software lifecycle.
Outstanding communication skills, for collaborating across many participating teams.

Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Elastic Stack, Prometheus or any other monitoring suites
Docker / Kubernetes experience.
Exposure to AWS EC2, GCP, or Azure.
