Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Security Architect with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions—particularly in AWS IAM—and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure secure application delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS IAM solutions for effective identity and access management.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the SDLC.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analysis; recommend remediation steps.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and documentation.
- Provide guidance and support on IAM issues and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging security threats, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in incident response activities and help prepare incident reports.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS IAM (users, roles, policies, permissions).
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for security automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Azure IAM or Google Cloud IAM.
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in security architecture with a core focus on IAM.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex security concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
