Job Description:
The Product Cybersecurity Program Manager will support Global Security by understanding stakeholder security needs and leading activities related to identifying weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and exploits across John Deere’s embedded product technologies. This role helps define vision, strategy, processes, and roadmaps for the product security team, translating needs into clear engineering objectives.

Vulnerability Management

Product Security Defense Center
The role works closely with Red Team activities for embedded products and supports compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and ISO 24882 (draft).
Major Duties
- Run or support Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, iterative development).
- Engage with stakeholders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and opportunities.
- Combine business judgment with technical understanding to guide product security direction.
- Align product roadmaps with adjacent product teams to manage dependencies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and build secure, high-quality solutions.
- Scope, assess, and communicate penetration testing needs across product lines.
- Lead implementation of vulnerability management across multiple teams.
- Support product security processes, traceability, and compliance initiatives.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Business, or related field.
