Position: Task Force Laboratory Testing Lead Location: Pentagon (Washington DC) or DHHQ SCIF (Arlington) everyday of the week Duration:3-6 months The DoD COVID-19 Task Force (CVTF) ensures a synchronized Department response to the COVID-19 pandemic. DoD operations will continue to be affected by this outbreak until vaccines are developed, treatments derived, and greater community-wide immunity is achieved. In support of these efforts, the Secretary has established a new line of effort under the DoD COVID-19 Task Force focused on screening, surveillance, and diagnostic testing for Critical National Capabilities. We have an immediate opportunity to support the Task Force in the following areas: Developing action plans to support COVID-19 screening, surveillance, and diagnostic testing requirements. Analysis to support best location for equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform COVID-19 diagnostic testing and direct the transfer, movement, or delivery of those supplies. Supporting development of standardized DoD COVID-19 screening, surveillance, and diagnostic testing protocols, including mission or geographic region specific protocols. Communications with DoD organizations regarding their COVID-19 screening, surveillance, and diagnostic testing requirements and efforts. Other emerging requirements of the DoD COVID-19 Task Force, as required.
