Job Title- Senior Technical Project Manager (IT Infrastructure, ITSM,ITIL)
Location-Raleigh, NC
Duration- 12 months
Responsibilities

- Manages all aspects assigned project work
- Develops and presents project briefings on a weekly basis
- Follows/adapts PMI best practices
- Delivers full project management life-cycle solutions including planning, tracking deployment, and completion for projects, upon request
- Develops effective plans and minimizes changes by setting realistic objectives
- Facilitates communications and consensus building among various project groups
- Research, plan, communicate and achieve objectives through program/project team
- Recommends changes to improve the process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication
Qualifications
Required:
7+ years of IT knowledge and demonstrated hands-on engineering and implementing solutions for customer requirements; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years (and up for senior roles) project management and/or project coordination experience
Experience planning and managing mid-to-large migration, engineering and/or deployment projects (i.e. Windows upgrade, technology refresh computer replacement
Experience investigating new technologies (i.e. O365, IE11, Windows10) and presenting technologies capabilities to the customer both written and orally
Experience tracking issues and resolutions during projects
Experience in working with customer POCs and users in the planning and execution of deployment activities • Demonstrated ability to identify and raise issues for stakeholder consideration appropriately (i.e. risk management skills)
Strong written and oral communications
Desired:
PMP, ITIL, and/or CSM certification
Proven success developing detailed staffing plans, status briefings, deployment project plans and schedules is strongly preferred
Experience gathering requirements in a structured manner to ensure that provided solutions meet requirements is strongly preferred
Experience working with engineering teams to develop project work breakdown structure (WBS)
Experience using MS Project
Should possess strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to agency and customer needs.
