Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Information Systems Lead Specialist to oversee enterprise technology systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with business goals. This role involves leading system architecture, modernization initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to support core IT functions such as system integrations, infrastructure management, and data security. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, lifecycle management, and operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise information systems across the organization.

  • Oversee system performance, availability, and security, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

  • Manage system upgrades, patching cycles, and version control for mission-critical applications.

  • Collaborate with business units to define technology needs and implement scalable solutions.

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system issues and provide escalation support.

  • Direct system integration initiatives, ensuring seamless data flow across applications and platforms.

  • Develop documentation, system architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

  • Manage vendor relationships, contract evaluations, and procurement activities.

  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members and project stakeholders.

  • Drive modernization projects, including cloud transformation, virtualization, and automation.

  • Monitor KPIs and system metrics to ensure performance and service quality.

  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, status updates, and risk assessments to leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience supporting enterprise information systems, infrastructure, or IT operations.

  • Strong expertise in system architecture, system lifecycle management, and enterprise IT environments.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and containerization technologies.

  • Experience with enterprise applications, ERP systems, data management, and integration technologies (APIs, ETL, middleware).

  • Solid understanding of information security practices, access controls, and compliance frameworks.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-department collaboration.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, automation tools, CI/CD, and monitoring systems.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline; advanced degree or certifications preferred (such as ITIL, PMP, AWS/Azure certifications).
