EDI-Programmer/Systems Analyst

100% Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for an EDI Programmer / Systems Analyst to design, develop, and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. The role involves working with trading partners, mapping data formats, and ensuring smooth integration between business systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EDI interfaces and mappings
Work with standard EDI formats such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON
Manage onboarding and integration of trading partners
Monitor EDI transactions and troubleshoot errors or failures
Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements
Perform system analysis, testing, and documentation
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards
Support EDI platforms and integration tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
Experience with EDI tools/platforms (e.g., Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, MuleSoft, etc.)
Knowledge of data mapping and transformation
Familiarity with APIs, file transfer protocols (FTP/SFTP), and middleware
Basic programming/scripting skills (SQL, Python, or similar)
Understanding of business processes (supply chain, logistics, finance, etc.)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Knowledge of integration frameworks and cloud platforms
Prior experience in industries like retail, healthcare, or logistics
Exposure to EDI compliance and regulatory requirements
