Lead Developer Python AI Gen

100% Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to design, develop, and lead scalable AI-driven solutions. You will guide a team of engineers, architect systems, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge AI products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Python
  • Architect scalable, high-performance systems for AI applications
  • Build and optimize models using LLMs, NLP, and deep learning techniques
  • Integrate AI solutions with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms
  • Mentor and guide development teams; enforce best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and DevOps teams
  • Drive code reviews, testing strategies, and performance optimization
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, LLMs, and GenAI technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with Generative AI / LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of NLP, deep learning, and model deployment
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)
  • Exposure to MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle management
  • Prior experience in leading teams or managing projects

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams
  • Agile/Scrum development experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience in building AI products at scale
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects
  • Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI practices
