Description:
- Design, implement, and enforce database security policies, access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms.
- Monitor database activity for anomalies, suspicious access, and potential breaches using SIEM and security monitoring tools.
- Securely configure and manage relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Open search.).
- Respond to and investigate database security incidents, breaches, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain and tune logging, auditing, and monitoring tools for proactive threat detection.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure database environments meet security standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for policies, procedures, and secure database configurations.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
- Experience with Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools (preferred).
