Data Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Computer Engineering or a software related discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field is an added plus
Overall Experience level: 10+ years in IT with min 5+ years as a Data Engineer.
8+ years of experience in designing data pipelines using ETL tools and Data warehousing.
3+ years of experience in working with Big data systems
2+ years of experience in designing and coding data pipelines using PySpark
2+ years of experience in GCP Data platform and Big query.
1+ years of experience in using Apache Airflow or Automic.
3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team

For this role; we value:
Ability to setup and maintain a data lake in GCP Data platform
Expertise creating data pipelines using Pyspark
Your data warehousing and big data experience and ability to bring optimizations in ETL/ELT processes
Your data engineering skills in creating and maintaining external Hive tables from GCS
Your hands-on experience with Apache Airflow or Automic scheduler.
The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A critical thinker that challenges assumptions and seeks new ideas
