We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant / Specialist Lead Engineer to join our team in Bentonville, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with demonstrated experience leading complex technology initiatives, providing architectural guidance, and collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise, solution design, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Lead end-to-end technical design, architecture, and implementation for enterprise-level projects.

Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Provide technical leadership to engineering teams including code reviews, best practices, and performance optimization.

Assist with defining project scope, timelines, and resource planning.

Drive system integration and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security guidelines.

Troubleshoot complex issues, manage risks, and implement long-term resolutions.

Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill development across the team.

12+ years of overall IT experience in software development, architecture, or technical consulting roles.

Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Technical Specialist in enterprise environments.

Strong expertise in designing and deploying scalable enterprise applications.

Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET, Node.js, or similar.

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong experience with APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and RESTful services.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools, DevOps concepts, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced and cross-functional environments.

Experience working in retail, supply chain, or large-scale enterprise environments.

Prior experience working with Walmart or large retail clients.

Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka or MQ.

Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or similar.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Agile/Scrum experience and ability to work closely with product and delivery teams.
