Certified AWS Candidate
· 8+ years of deep AWS experience using AWS services related to data migration, data ingestion, data lakes and data warehouses
· AWS Solution Architect Professional certification.
· Experience migrating on-premises data warehouse and analytical workloads to AWS
· Knowledge with preferred ability to design connectivity between On –Premise and AWS with appropriate security configurations
· Knowledge of and Ability to select the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data and security requirements
· Must have strong expertise (Development/Troubleshooting/Performance tuning) in the following development services
- EMR, AWS Redshift, Glue, Athena, DMS, S3
- Lambda, Batch and Step Functions and API gateway
· Knowledge of Security Hardening of AWS infrastructure
· Preferred exposure to the following services (Development)
- EKS, ECS, Kinesis, RDS
- EC2, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, Trusted Advisor, CloudFormation, AWS Config
- Code Commit, Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline
• Identify appropriate use of AWS operational best practices and AWS well-architected framework
• Experience is building end to end data Pipeline on cloud.
• Estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
• Analyze, re-architect and re-platform on-premises data warehouses to data platforms on AWS cloud using AWS or 3rd party services.
• Good Communication skill and ability to elicit requirement from business users
• Ability to translate requirement to architecture and explain to development team
· Preferred exposure in the following basic AWS Services
- VPC, Subnet, Elastic Network interface, Internet Gateway, Route table, NAT Gateway, Network ACL, Direct Connect, VPN IAM, KMS, MFA, Encryption
