Role: Technology Lead - MSBI
Location: Livingston, NJ
Duration: Fulltime
Qualifications Basic
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred
- 4 years of database development.
- 4 years of SQL/Server database development.
- 4 years of SSIS/SSRS development.
- Very strong SQL development skills.
- Experience with SQL/Server 2012 including SSIS 2012 features.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Should be proficient in design and architecture of complex ETL Solution.
- Should be able to manage and expand current ETL framework for enhanced functionality and expanded sourcing.
- Should be able to come with multiple solutions for a problem, document and present solution options with different considerations to stakeholders.
- Should be able to participate and drive analysis sessions with business analysts, source-system technical teams, and end users.
- Should be expert in writing complex SQL queries. Should be able to do data analysis to understand source data, provide inputs to business analysis and create extracts for data consumers.
- Drive high-level design artifacts down to detailed-design specifications.
- Code SSIS packages, create T-SQL routines, SQL server jobs
- Develop and execute test plans of unit testing thorough integration testing.
- Create production run books and other support documentation. Production job monitoring and support as needed.
- Code reviews of ETL, Test plan and SQL processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Performance tuning and optimization.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Experience in financial domain.
