Position Description:
Solution Architect will help teams with the architecture of new and existing applications using Ford standard architecture patterns and processes . Works with application teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability and reliability) . Supports the application team in the development of the technical design and documentation . Provides support such as troubleshooting to application performance issues . Participate in vendor solution evaluation processes . Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience Required:
Strong architecture knowledge with experience in providing complex technical solutions for enterprise class applications . Self-starter, ability to work independently . Strong communication skills both verbal and written . Experience with interfaces and J2EE technologies . Experience with VMware, Linux and Windows operating systems . Experience with SQL Server database systems . Negotiation skills and ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders/customers
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of Ford standards and processes . Experience in trouble shooting complex systems and performance testing and tuning . Experience with UML Diagraming . Experience with Mobile applications and modern user experiences . Experience with Interoperability methods . Network knowledge.
Education Required:
Bachelor"s in Computer Science or equivalent
