Job Description:

Knowledge on Mainframe hardware, HCD
Knowledge of Coupling facility support, High Availability and Automation
Experience/knowledge of parallel sysplex (GDPS), IBM system utilities, and Automation
Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures
Experience with system indicators (logs, dumps, error) logs for pro-active management of system problems
Experience with system monitoring tools such as Omegamon
Hardware knowledge on large-scale hardware vendors (IBM, Brocade, Cisco)
Administer 3rd-party systems software
System parameters/parmlib maintenance
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product suite
On-call rotation / weekend work required
