Automation QA

100% Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, manual testers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
Identify, document, and track software defects
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements
Participate in test planning, test case review, and sprint ceremonies
Analyze test results and provide clear reports on quality status
Support CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
2+ years of experience in QA automation (adjust as needed)
Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, etc.)
Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with version control tools (Git)

Good to Have

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Performance testing exposure (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Mobile automation experience (Appium)
Cloud testing experience (AWS, Azure, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
