Workplace Manager-EUC and Security Practices
Contract- 6-12 Months
Durham NC & Raleigh NC
Both are 100 percent onsite role.
We are looking for experienced business technology transformation practitioner, with over 8-10 years of solution shaping, estimating, commercial building and delivery leadership. This experience includes working within a consultancy or systems integrator. Candidate should project an expert level of knowledge and a high degree of creativity about how to use Microsoft and other technologies to deliver business value. Candidate should have a positive attitude and should be able to quickly earn the respect of collogues, partners and clients as you engage with them and lead meetings and pursuits.
In addition, your professional skillset should include:
  • Experience delivering solutions in field of Modern Workplace (inclusive of Service Desk and Digital workplace) for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction
  • Strong consulting / project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.
  • Strong experience writing and responding to RFP/RFI/RFT documents and presenting to clients
  • Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organizations, including significant experience with off-shore teams and delivery
  • Experience leading Office 365 transformations around Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience with upgrading to Windows 10. Understanding and experience with modern management is a plus
  • Experience and understanding of following
    • Workplace security with Microsoft EMS E5 suite
    • Azure Advanced Threat Protection
    • Azure Information Protection
    • Intune/SCCM
    • Cloud App Security
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Advanced Threat Analytics
  • Experience with sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
  • Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to perform assigned tasks and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must be well organized, a good communicator, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage projects from concept to production.
  • Must be able to write thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user documentation.
  • Must be able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multitask, and quickly adapt to change.

Beneficial skills/qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Microsoft 365 certifications.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Knowledge of Workplace engineering including Image Management, Application Packaging (App-V/MSI) and Distribution, Patch Management etc.
