Position Overview
The client is seeking an experienced SolarWinds Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-wide monitoring solutions. This role is essential to ensuring operational visibility, system performance, and infrastructure reliability across mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, and enterprise monitoring best practices in hybrid and high-availability systems.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive monitoring strategy using SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.

Ensure real-time visibility and proactive performance monitoring across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Configure and optimize monitoring components including SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, and database polling.

Develop automation, custom scripts, and integrations using PowerShell and Python.

Support incident response workflows and align monitoring solutions with ITIL best practices.

Extract and analyze data using Orion SDK and API-based methods (preferred).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure uptime, reliability, and safety.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds in enterprise or public-sector environments.

3+ years deploying and managing LogicMonitor in hybrid or cloud setups.

Strong working knowledge of SNMP, WMI, NetFlow, and database polling methodologies.

Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation and integrations.

Experience working with Azure or AWS and hybrid monitoring architectures.

Familiarity with database queries for custom monitoring.

Understanding of ITIL practices and incident response workflows.

English fluency – native or bilingual proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting or engineering monitoring within critical infrastructure domains.

Certifications such as SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) or equivalent.

LogicMonitor Certified Associate/Professional credentials.
