Technical Skills Required
- Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, CloudWatch
- Experience designing microservices, serverless architectures, and containerized workloads.
- Proven experience in modernising monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of IAM, VPC, security groups, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture strategy for modernising legacy applications to AWS.
- Design end-to-end AWS solutions leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.
- Develop migration roadmaps including rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring approaches.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles for security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption standards.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization for cloud workloads.
