About the Role:
Client is seeking a hands-on, high-energy Trade Floor Technical Support Engineer to provide real-time front-office support for FX, Credit, and Equities trading desks.
This role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure trading environments, directly supporting traders, sales, and operations while ensuring trading platforms remain stable, high-performing, and resilient.
You'll leverage tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, SQL, Python, and Unix/Linux to identify, resolve, and prevent technical issues impacting front-office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time technical support to front-office trading desks (FX, Credit, Equities).
Diagnose and resolve time-sensitive trading issues impacting traders.
Lead independent triage calls and coordinate with development/infrastructure teams.
Monitor system health using Splunk, Dynatrace, and other observability tools.
Support migration from legacy tools (ITRS) to modern monitoring solutions.
Automate processes and analyse incidents using SQL & Python scripting.
Work collaboratively via ServiceNow and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Production/Application Support experience in Trading Floor environments.
Deep understanding of Java-based or distributed trading systems.
Experience building dashboards in Splunk/Dynatrace.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills under pressure.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with ITSM & ServiceNow workflows
Understanding of trade lifecycle & front-to-back processes
Experience with automation & performance tuning
