We're looking for an excellent PM to manage a couple of projects under DMI (data modernization initiative).
Monitors and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications.
Compiles and distributes project information, status reports, and project budget expenditures for portfolio of projects.
Works with business users to define project requirements
Creates documentation to capture requirements and address changes in original project.
Determines the optimal resource mix for the portfolio delivery, and schedules activities to achieve the organization's goals.
Participates in different phases and activities of the systems development lifecycle such as requirements analysis, high-level design, code review, quality assurance testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Participates in continuous process improvement activities that support other sections within ISS.
Uses an Agile systems development methodology to develop product and system specifications and deliver a quality product to end user in a timely manner. Utilizes various methods to prioritize projects.
The project manager will be required to comply with the THECB project management process, which includes ensuring deliverables meet defined project requirements. • The Project Manager will be required to comply with THECB data security policy.
Required
8+ years Project Management in IT Environment, Effective written and verbal Communication, Experience with Microsoft Office Products, Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
5+ years Ability to clarify, structure and prioritize project requirements, Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Preferred
2+ years Azure DevOps PM experience
