Job Description – Tandem/Card Management Developer - Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional II

What you will do:
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Produce well-designed, testable, efficient quality code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement and innovation
- Produce quality documentation for the support teams
- Troubleshoot / Diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions

What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications with hands-on experience in technologies like Tandem/HP Nonstop/COBOL/TAL
- Experience with data replication using Shadowbase or GoldenGate

What would be great to have:
- Experience with REST APIs
- Strong experience in event-based architecture at large institutions
- Financial services industry experience
- Experience with analytics and performance monitoring
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience in Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.
